2025 - Our Animation Highlights

2025 is coming to an end, and so we’ve taken the chance to reflect on last year of animated videos we’ve made. There are so many brilliant videos we’ve animated over the last year, and it’s hard to narrow it down a few top picks so we’ve gone with those that presented new creative challenges.  In no particular order, here are some highlights:

Modern Slavery Explainer Video – Durham Police and Crime Commissioners’ Office

Tackling difficult topics and making them accessible is one our specialties, and something we love to do! This video aims to highlight the realities behind modern slavery in the UK, and how the signs can be spotted. When developing the script and storyboard we sought input from people with lived experience to help shape the narrative and inform the video’s content.

Adventures with Sofia – Captain Cook Birthplace Museum

No surprises that this was one of our highlights! We produced a five-part series of videos, that follow Sofia and her uncle on adventure through time to follow Captain Cook on his famous voyages. This was the largest project we’ve produced to date, and the creative scope for both storytelling and character animation allowed us to really push the boat out!

We worked closely with the staff at Middlesbrough Museums, and with an expert at Durham university to ensure that everything was factually not just factually accurate, but also that the videos avoided the traditional colonial narrative, and gave due attention to influential people from other cultures.

You can see this one for yourself at the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum in Middlesbrough!

Litmus Partnership

We were excited to work on a second project for Litmus Partnership, and even more excited when we got to see their rebrand. The new design style was focused around liquid bubbles and smooth gradients, which gave us the opportunity for some really fun motion graphics work!
